yay! im so proud of myself. so the easter tridium started yesterday. since i had duty, i didnt go to cca. met up with the team and went to eat dinner at thomson plaza. after duty and holy hour, went to ice kimo for supper. later, me and pearlyn rushed back in time for the lenten vigil.

so exciting! we sang some really nice and catchy songs and i met pamela's friend, elsa (elissa). we got to eat a passover meal at about midnight. the celery was disgusting but the lamb was NICE! hmm. and we had the washing of the feet, so i washed esther's feet and she washed mine. then we had an outside stations of the cross. kneeling on the gravel was bad and poor elissa got her shoe scratched. when we were back in the attic, it was about 4am and everyone was sleepy or sleeping. we had the paraliturgy of good friday and everyone was into the prayful atmosphere. so we did the writing down of burdens and hammering them into the cross which Jesus carried. the nails were coated in red paint so when we nailed it in, our hand would be coated with the red paint which symbolized the blood of Jesus Christ.

went home at 5 and fell to sleep immediately. so i managed to get roughly 4 hours of sleep before getting up to go for the good friday service. so the service was supposed to start at 10am. we reached there about 9.40am and the place was packed already. singaporeans are taking the kiasu thing too far off. the service took about 2.5 hours and... i have successfully managed to fast the whole of today.

YES! goal accomplished. and so dodo bird said i was being anorexic. she would know, pig. and once we came home, i fell asleep straight away all the way until 7pm. my stomach still aches after the sit ups. but at least its flatter now, and will be even flatter tomorrow after my swimming. then i will have to rush back for the easter vigil in sunday's best.
